Yummy linkage love!

I am slowly working myself towards a personal goal of mine for this Summer... and to not get myself too worked up I like to try recipes I found through the people I watch by various places...
Here my fave 3 recipes of the past weeks.

Something sweet...

Something quick...
Pinecone Camp: Baked

And something for the heart...

This Wednesday I will go to a meeting & then we will see how  & most of all where I will spent my Summer.
I am very excited... keep your fingers crossed for me, will you?
Have a nice day, y'all...

Tumblr Tuesday XII

Since I have had a hard week and a half behind me, I will post a few inspiring pieces from my Tumblr Feed/Reblog, which brought me safely through day to day life & that super heavy case of vertigo.
(Links are below the images, should you fancy to Like them on Tumblr and for Crediting of course.)

I wanted to thank everyone, whom had such nice words/comments for me in the last entry.
The vertigo is getting better, sometimes it comes back in the middle of the night but not as hard.
Love you all to bits! xoxoxo

Oh, and that Project/Thingy I mentioned in passing, a few weeks ago, is getting bigger... so Tumblr Tuesday is going to become a Bi Monthly posting instead of the Weekly installment, 'cause I have a lot of work & preparation in front of me in the coming 3.5 Months.
I am so not happy about this, but the outcome will be worth it. ( I hope!)

The Art of lying Sideways without waking up from Vertigo

Hey there, how are you all doing? Fine?
Great, that's Better than how I feel. (Yes, you might pity me now, just a tiny bit though... okay, enough! Thank you kindly.)

I have been lying almost all week with a very, very severe case of what I believe to be Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo
I hate the guts out of Doctors, so I did some research on the Interwebz, to be really sure what my problem was. And since it has been the 4'th or 5'th time since Mid August 2013 that I had this kind of Vertigo, I looked at the symptoms & asked my friend Google what to do.

And to make a long Story short, I found something called the Epley-Manöver! *Shakes Fist in the Air*

I went to my Drug Dealer of the Day, also called Youtube and found these lovely Videos -> Looky here!
These are the two english Vids, which were of particular Help! Video1 & Video2.
(There were more in german & a few other languages I watched, but not everyone understands them so only post these.)

I might need to do this more than once since I have the BPPV on both sides, but it feels slightly better all ready.

Yup, that was me... so how was your week?

Tumblr Tuesday X

After the 20°C, which we experienced this past weekend, I am lusting for some fresh Berries. I know we still have Time before 'Berry Season' starts, but in my mind I am already tasting their juicy deliciousness.
(Links are below the images, should you fancy to Like them on Tumblr and for Crediting of course.)

Gah! Looks at these Beauties! :D

Which is your personal favourite and how do you like your Berries? Organic and in Season, or all year round in the Supermarket (From a Greenhouse)? And what form? As Juice, Compote or the Fruit itself...?

I'm off for some R&R... have a lovely Day.

P.S.: Enjoy some more of these... -> Here be Berries!

Nokta reads 02/2014...

February was a hectique Month, mon déesse!
So I only went through cookbooks and one short-story book which I still haven't finished, so it won't appear here this time. ^_^

Aldidente. 30 Tage Preiswert Schlemmen - Astrid Paprotta
This was for free, so I did read dutifully through all the Recipes... and now I want that time back. All the wasted minutes, which I could have spent in better ways.
Not to mention the trees, which had to be cut for this book to be printed, and all its other copies. (I weep at the mere thought!)
Only good part, because of the book's age they used Deutsche Mark as currency, instead of todays Euro/€.

Ice Cream: Frozen Favorites for All Tastes - Eliq Maranik
I went with Mother to the Supermarket. They had rearranged the different Areas a bit, expanding the tiny book corner, making it now thrice a s big.
There was a Lady with one of these coloured Prize Wheels. If you hit the right field you get a book for free. My mother was like "Meh..." while I was all "Yayz... Me, me!".
Long story short... my almost fully Blind mother won this book while I got a rose as a Consolation Price.
The Book is kinda meh... but maybe I just say this because I did not win!? ;)

Pfannengerichte. Die besten Rezepte - Unknown
I am an ovo-lacto Vegetarian, leaning towards no Ovo & Lacto in my food whenever possible... so this Cookbook was kind of a let down. Meat here, Poultry there and some Fish everywhere.
Oh and most of the meat was Pork with Pork and some Pork on top of it.
Even though we live in a Country with a good amount of Jews & Muslims.

Right now I am reading the 1'st Book in the Series of  "A Song of Ice and Fire" called "A Game of Thrones".
It's all Sean Bean's fault 'cause of him portraying Ned Stark so gorgeously.

Tumblr Tuesday IX

A few Weeks ago my mother got her old Oympia Traveller typewriter out from the top of her and fathers wardrobe. The poor thing was so dusty I almost died seeing it like that. She asked me if I could get it to work again... and so my love for Typewriters, or Daktilo as they are called in Turkey, woke from anew. Enjoy.
(Links are below the images, should you fancy to Like them on Tumblr and for Crediting of course.)

Hmm... I should be too young, to feel such a Nostalgia about these, but I clearly remember from my Childhood the tic, tic, tac whenever my mother wrote a letter to her (far, far away) turkish Relatives.
Or when she wrote Poems on it, just because I wanted to see the tiny Letters throw themself(?) against the Paper, lead by my Mother's magical Fingers.

Do you own a typewriter? Do/Can you use it?
If english is not your first language, what do you call a typewriter in your Mother Tongue?

Oh, and here one more treat... a Schreibkugel/Writing Ball from Denmark
The famous Nietzsche used to own one...
