Tumblr Tuesday XVIII

Lately I've been inspired to have some plants in my bedroom, bathroom and/or living room.
But with my brown thumb that's always been a problem, still these images are so worth a thought or two! :) Maybe I'll find a few low maintenance plants, someday...
(Links are below the images, should you fancy to Like them on Tumblr and for Crediting.)

What are your thoughts on plants at home? -Yayz or a total No-Go?
Any suggestions on easy to handle yet beautiful plants? -I would love to know.
And what about your "Thumb"... is it green or rather brown?

Yours,
 Nokta

  1. Nokta... my thumb is black... I killed a cactus, those pants are hardy, the poor thing didn't survive me... I banned myself from owning any plants until I am an old lady and not working, lol :)

  2. Cactus in general is a resistant plant, I don't have a large experience, I have a spiky mandarin and another one which I don't know the name. :D
I like to have on balcony most of all.

  3. Nokta, I wanted ease your mind, I am NOT going to walk 15 miles per day... I would be in pain just like you said, lol :) I am going to walk 15 miles in a week, build back to 25-30 miles in the week. I feel really good then :)
Thank you so much for your comment, I always look forward to hear what you are going to say... usually funny and said with honesty ;) <3

Sorry... I'm having terrible headaches these days & I sometimes can't fully concentrate reading. No matter how hard I try... so a word might escape me every now & then.

Thank you, always happy to make people laugh!!!

  6. There's shortage of water in my neck of the woods, and water is quite expensive. So, when you buy a plant, the vendor will usually say to you what you wish to hear- it doesn't require much water, once a week a few drops or so. Well, after a few days the plant dies.It probably needs water everyday, like a living person or animal.
Anyway, do your homework before you buy a plant and don't rely on the vendor.

    1. Wow, so many our vendor lied to me, too.
I guess I will need to go to the library (or maybe wikipedia?) first & read about plants before I'll ever buy one again.
Thank you for your comment.. always happy to have you over! :)

  9. Plants in the house is great experience .I love to see things grow.
to see a new leaf, it was like a new born baby come and meet the world; I feel great to see a plant bearing fruits.A passionate look, touch or a hug on a plant is enough to open your inner eyes .
The shared images are wonderfully enjoyable.
    Have a relaxing weekend!

  10. Oh my! I adore these pictures. I've just started making macrame holders for all my pots and I've hung a few in my bedroom. It's made it so much fresher and makes me feel ever so cheery in the mornings! XX
