Tumblr Tuesday XXVIII

Sometimes you see a house or building in general and think... "It must take a lot of effort to keep this old thing together!?" But then again it looks so beautiful, that you become just a tad jealous of how special it looks. I've seen a few homes like that in Real Life & always enjoy seeing more online... hopefully you like them, too. ;)
(Links are, again, below each of the images, should you fancy to Like them on Tumblr & for Crediting of course.)

My favourites Houses are the really old ones from the Ottoman Era. Sometimes I ask myself, how they still stand... but at the same time I am glad they do. ;)

What's your thought? Ripe for a teardown or worth the effort to save them? -'Cause you know the charm of them and all...

  1. I love the architecture of the old buildings, I say save them and just make sure they are save... too many cookie cutter places out there xox

  2. off to the Tuscany house with the flowers at the entry...

    liebe Grüße

  3. Worth the effort to save them, for the culture and the beauty of course. The first house looks really damaged. I would be afraid to live in it, even passing.

  4. I'm for the preservation of corner houses (the first picture) and of stone houses (the last picture). The first for its location (at the corner of a street), and the last for its material - stone, which allow for more than one option of saving them.

  5. da ich meinen PC (ausnahmsweise :-))) für einige Tage ausschalten werde, wollte ich dir entspannte und schöne Feiertage wünschen. Möge alle deine Wünsche in 2016 in Erfüllung gehen. Liebe Grüße zu dir, Nesrin
